Steve Foley, member of Wheelo and one-time drummer for The Replacements, passed away this weekend, announced Minnesota Public Radio Tuesday.
Details surrounding the Minneapolis drummer’s death are still unknown.
Foley joined The Replacements in 1990 when he replaced Chris Mars. After leaving the band, Foley began playing in Tommy Stinson’s post-Replacements band Bash and Pop. In the late 90s, Foley became a member of Wheelo. The band’s self-released CD is called “Something Wonderful.”
