Jennifer Lopez is back at work after the recent birth of her twins, executive producing the pilot for a new fall TV series for ABC based on her 2002 movie hit, “Maid in Manhattan”.
The hour-long comedy/drama will focus on the relationships between the maid and her fellow hotel workers, family and friends, rather than any romances with the ritzy hotel guests like the movie version.
Wonder if the star of “Maid in Manhattan” will ever run into the other Latina actress starring in a New York City-based ABC-TV series – America Ferrera from “Ugly Betty”?
