From IFC Films comes an animated horror film that will enlighten audiences to the combined talent of six of the world’s most renowned comic and graphic artists – Blutch, Charles Burns, Marie Caillou, Pierre Di Sciullo, Lorenzo Mattotti, and Richard McGuire.

Fear(s) of the Dark is a film composed of six intertwined tales that shine light (no pun intended) on all the things we fear the most. (I lied…the pun was intended). Inspired by the nightmares that haunt the minds of each graphic artist, these tales showcase their styles, incorporating their nuanced tastes and visual perspectives.

Ranging from hounds unleashed on a bloodthirsty rampage to a Japanese schoolgirl menaced by the ghost of a samurai, each tale exemplifies a unique and deep-seated fear within all of us.

While aesthetically pleasing, the film creates a horrifying world in which bugaboos and hobgoblins are manifested in ways that will induce states of trepidation and agitation.

Can’t wait to see it right?!! Well you’ll have to….Fear(s) of the Dark opens in select theatres October 24…just in time for Christmas!
