Can Jeremy Piven do it again and score his third Emmy today?

Piven, 43, has already won two Emmys for Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series and a Golden Globe for playing feisty Hollywood agent Ari Gold in HBO’s “Entourage.”
Many Emmy handicappers are predicting his third win, but Piven doesn’t seem to take himself or his accolades too seriously.
He told his native Chicago Sun-Times he heard about his Emmy nomination while “sitting in a hot-air balloon somewhere over the Indian Ocean, and I had nothing but a rusty compass in my hand, and I was shivering, and a carrier pigeon delivered the news to me… or my publicist called me.”
That’s an appropriately comedic line coming from the actor who gained popularity from acting in comedies such as “The Larry Sanders Show” and “Ellen.”
You also might have noticed that Piven is frequently seen in movies with John Cusack, including “Serendipity,” “Runaway Jury” and “Say Anything…” to mention a few.
In fact, they’re more than costars. They’re best friends who shared an apartment in Chicago together.
“John Cusack and I have been friends since childhood, and the fact that we’re in so many films together is, no pun intended, serendipitous. I audition and, after I find out I’ve got the job, I call Johnny and say “Hey, man, we’re going to be in New Orleans together”. And because we’ve done a bunch of films, people connect the dots. But that’s not the case,” Piven said, according to The Internet Movie Database.
Piven still calls Chicago home because he splits his time between there and Malibu, according to IMDb.
“I have a place in Chicago and I get there as much as I can . . . The city is so unbelievably beautiful. It’s one of the greatest cities on the planet. My heart beats differently when I’m in Chicago. It slows down and I feel more at ease,” he said.
