The often outspoken rap star Kanye West was arrested Thursday at Los Angeles International Airport after allegedly throwing a paparazzi’s camera to the floor. He and his manager, Don Crowley, were taken into custody shortly before 8:00 AM and charged for felony vandalism.
The celebrity gossip site TMZ posted a video clip of the scuffle showing West and Crowley grabbing the camera of a photographer and subsequently throwing and smashing the camera and flash to the ground. It’s rumored that the camera cost near $10,000.
West and his manager were Honolulu, Hawaii bound before the altercation occurred, never making it past the security checkpoints.
Today, the rapper posted a brief message on his blog commenting, “We back in the lab!!! I’m cool with the paparazzi. This guy wasn’t cool. I gotta work now… I’ll rant later!”
I am confident that I’m not the only one that is looking forward to his rant!
