Britain’s favorite sketch comedy show, Little Britain, premiered last night on HBO. This U.S. incarnation is called, rather fittingly, Little Britain USA.
The show is comprised of quick vignettes that illuminate the ridiculousness of British life.  In Little Britain USA, they have quick little vignetters that illuminate the ridiculousness of American life. And boy, is it spot on.
Several of the comedic duo’s favorite characters have relocated to the United States either permanently or simply for a little vacay (thanks to the strong pound and weak dollar).
If you have any funny bones in your body you will love this show. But, be forewarned, the humour is grotesque, inappropriate, bawdy, ballsy. It’s not for the weak of heart.
