Twilight heartthrob Robert Pattinson has been used as the inspiration for a new line of man panties, ahem, men’s underwear in the UK. According to the Guardian, British Retailer Marks and Spencer has announced they will call the new underwear the R-Pant. The slim-fit underwear collection of low-rise briefs and trunks are meant to be worn under skinny jeans, like those often sported by Pattinson himself, and funny guy Russell Brand. The new manties, which will hit stores in September, are designed to appeal to a younger, fashion-savvy male and “sex-up” his underwear range.
R-Patz is not endorsing the line, nor will he be making store appearances, but the retailer says Rob has been spotted shopping for underwear at a Marks and Spencer store before.
This brings me to the crucial question…who has sexier panties, R-Patz or K-Stew?
