I live a go-go-go life and when I am not “going” I love to relax. Many people might put a manicure and pedicure on their “relaxing moments” list, but NOT me! I’d put them on my “maintenance list. That list also includes laser hair removal and eyebrow waxing, so not exactly fun to me.
Manicures and pedicures stress me out. If I’m getting both done at the same time, I cannot read a book or trashy magazine. I cannot text or bbm. Instead, I have to sit there and breathe in all the crazy fumes. I also rather dislike the filing-of-the-nails bit. It shoots weird tingly/tickly-ness up my arms and back. Furthermore, the scrubbing under my foot just rubs me the wrong way. But the icing on the cake for me…the drying period. I never sit there long enough and I always want to escape into the fresh air. In the end, I always end up messing up my nails.
Imagine my joy when one day, I saw a 10 minute manicure salon in JFK Airport. Was I seeing an oasis?! So I walked in, sat down…and in literally ten minutes the technician took off my chipped nail color, filed, buffed and pushed my cuticles back, and then added a base coat, two licks of polish, even a top coat…et voila!
Because I was waiting to board, I didn’t feel like I was waiting for my nails to dry. It also meant I landed in LA with my nails did and me ready for my week. I’d say the only drawback was it cost $17.00, which is pricey for just a manicure in my budget book…but as I type and look at my lovely red nails, I’m happy and therefore that’s money well spent!

Butter London (one of my favorite nail polish brand’s as well) has stores in Seattle SeaTac, Washington Dulles, and Sacramento International Airports.

:10 minute manicure Located in JFK Delta terminal NY, Terminals B and C at Northern Kentucky International Airport, as well as in Cincinnati, OH
So with the “real” ten-minute manicure, there’s definitely no longer an excuse to get those nails done.

I love this! I absolutely need regular maintenance work carried out but just can’t deal with the length of time needed to do it , so this is a ten minute miracle in my book! the entire experience can make u feel one hundred percent better about yourself. chipped,cracked and crusty nails is just not the way forward really.
