Whether you call Los Angeles your permanent home, or you’re just visiting the city of angels, you’re almost bound to run into a celebrity. Here are some places I’ve recently seen the stars.
Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills. 300 South Doheny Drive, Los Angeles California 90048
The Four Seasons Hotel is a Los Angeles standard for the privileged and famous. Tucked away in beautiful Beverly Hills, a stone’s throw away from the swanky shopping at Rodeo Drive, many celebrities have stayed here or dined at the in-house restaurant, Culina. Last time I visited this posh, palatial hotel, I quite literally bumped in to Queen Latifiah (I am happy to report, that she graciously apologized, and smiled during our accidental encounter).
Urth Café in Santa Monica. 2327 Main Street Santa Monica, CA 90405
Although I know many fans of The Hills were sad to see the popular MTV series end, that doesn’t mean you can’t still see your favorite cast members out and about in the Los Angeles area. I recently spotted Justin Bobby at Urth Café in Santa Monica, a popular hang out for the health conscious (and yes, it’s always this busy!). Asides from the constant star-spotting, they put the coolest designs on their specialty coffee drinks.
Crunch in West Hollywood. 8000 W Sunset Blvd West Hollywood, CA 90046
In case you had any doubt, most Hollywood stars stay fit just like the rest of us by eating well and hitting the gym. While Los Angeles certainly has no shortage of places to work out, some locales are more popular than others when it comes to celebrity sightings. I’ve seen Russell Brand and Nicole Kidman getting their workout on at Crunch in West Hollywood (They’ve got some pretty sweet fitness classes there too). Fitness guru Jillian Michaels has also been known to pop in from time to time. Check back next week for more of my positively star sightings!
