Looks like Lindsay Lohan is finally starting to figure out how it all works…or at least someone is trying to figure it out for her. On Wednesday, the actress voluntarily checked herself into “Pickford Lofts”, a sober-living house in West Hollywood, founded by famed lawyer Robert Shapiro after his son died in 2005 from a drug overdose. Call it coincidence…but Shapiro just so happens to be Lilo’s new attorney.
At least Lindsay is in good company, as Mama Dina Lohan visited her at the loft, and former gal pal Samantha Ronson, was also seen leaving the facility earlier that day. But just because Lindsay’s hopped on the rehab band wagon doesn’t mean she’s getting out of serving time. Lindsay is still expected to report for jail on Tuesday, July 20, and Robert Shapiro tells the DA that he does not plan to appeal the judge’s sentence.
However, Lindsay’s dad, Michael Lohan, has little faith in his daughter. He thinks Lindsay won’t benefit from rehab unless she follows his advice. Papa Lohan tells E! News, “I just pray that they implement everything else I said, like getting clean off all meds, asking the court to go to rehab first and then reevaluate Lindsay’s incarceration, cleaning house and picking all new friends and management and finally that Dina put her motives aside and she go to counseling with Lindsay and me…I don’t get their plan or strategy.”
On the other hand, Dina doesn’t think rehab or jail is the answer, telling In Touch that Lilo wants to open her own rehab facility for kids and celebs…umm, ok.
