Not to worry, I haven’t started this beauty blog by insulting you!  “You don’t know Jacques” is by far my favorite nail polish color by OPI (after black of course).

Why?  I’m in love with it’s mushroomy taupe shade.  It’s the quintessential “Is it grey?” “Is it brown?”   I love the way it makes people automatically say “OMG, what is the name of that polish!” and I, like a proud mother, reply…“You don’t know Jacques” with a sly smile.

I knew it was a real hit when my pilates instructor (who teaches all the uber cool people in L.A… and is male, FYI) leaned over my Cadillac, took one look at my nails and said “You don’t know Jacques!”  At that moment I knew I was officially one of the cool kids!

I nearly forgot to tell you the best thing about this polish though — it comes in matte AND shine!  Icing on the cake.  If grey or brown isn’t your thing, check out Chanel’s “Particuliere”….another gorgeous girly beauty find.
