And not the kind you eat. Yep, ewwww! I hear you…just me saying that makes you think of some pretty unpleasant things. But when people see your feet with corns, I promise you they are thinking the same thing!
Let me start by saying I didn’t think I had corns until one sunny day in my flip flops, my toes would tan funny — I would get a darker round circle on some of them. I was told I had very tiny mini-corns under my skin. Me? corns? Heck no!
So I ran to CVS (my first stop for anything standard beauty-wise) and went down to the foot treatment area…and thank god, there were some corn removers.
The packet said they could be removed in two uses. It sounded a bit too good to be true, but as mine were so non- existent…maybe so. You put a little disc on top of the corn and fasten the bandage on top depending on what kind you purchased.
Leave it on for 48 hours. Plan for two whole days of wearing closed-toe shoes because it’s not a cute look with that funky nude/putty colored thing on my pretty pedicured feet!
After the first try, I was horrified when I took the bandage off. It had gotten rid of all the dead skin on top of the corn…but now the corn was exposed and SHINY! Cue two more days of closed-toe shoes, but after 48 hours of not having the medicated disc you can try again for round 2. Luckily after the second time, it was finally gone.
You don’t have to live with busted toes, so do something about it! I did and now my toesies are so happy I had to buy a pair of YSL flats to show them off !!!
