On Wednesday, friends, family, and fans gathered on Hollywood’s Walk of Fame, to witness Reese Witherspoon – one of my personal fav’s – receive her well deserved star. The Legally Blonde actress, 34, is the 2,425th celeb to receive this amazing honor, and she accepted her award with her #1 fans in tow, her daughter Ava and son, Deacon.
James L. Brooks, writer and director of Reese’s latest movie, How Do You Know, introduced the actress to the crowd, accompanied with some kind words. Reese also had another mini support system by her side on her special day, Bruiser, Reese’s Chihuahua co-star from Legally Blonde!
The actress – who began her career in 1990 with an open casting call for the movie, The Man in the Moon. – told E! News, “What I understand now, after 20 years of making movies, is that the achievement is being part of a community of people—often who have done this for generations—who are the best at what they do.”
Reese wrapped up the ceremony by posing for pictures with her family, and her boyfriend, Hollywood agent Jim Toft.
