Is Kim Kardashian the new face of Old Navy?? Well that’s a big NO! But it sounds like the discount clothing chain had a lot of you KK fans doing a double take. Old Navy recently debuted their new campaign, “Old Navy Records. Original hits. Original styles.”
Each commercial will feature a performance by a group of singers and dancers, presented as if they were famous bands and other musical acts.
The first spot, “Super C-U-T-E”, shows a trio that looks like a version of the Black Eyed Peas, but instead of Fergie, the lead singer appears to be a dead ringer for Kim Kardashian!!

Reportedly, Kim is not too happy about her doppelganger, but since Old Navy didn’t use Kim’s actual likeness or her name, it may be a tough case to crack.
Old Navy plans to release five more commercials in the coming weeks, plus an additional five or six in the second half of the year.

According to the New York Times, the goal of the campaign is to connect more effectively with Old Navy’s target customer – women ages 25 to 35 who are typically also moms.
On the flip side, it sounds like Kim’s look-a-like is finally getting her big break, as this isn’t her first run-in with fame. The girl who stars in the spot, Melissa Molinaro, is a Canadian born singer/actress who has actually appeared on many TV shows including “Making the Band 3”, “How I Met Your Mother” and “The Young and the Restless”.
What do you think? Did Old Navy have you fooled?
