Greetings Positively Celebrity darlings!
This is a super dooper exciting subject for me to write on. As many of you know by now, I am a lavender freak. I love lavender in my baths, salts, creams and especially CANDLES. I just find the scent so relaxing and refreshing. It instantly calms me down and makes me feel at home. If i come over to your home and you have a lavender candle on, I automatically zen out and love the energy in the room.
Seeing a lavender field makes me smile so big inside. I mean, how beautiful are they…such long stems and gorgeous color! Back to business…on the candles, anyway. I heart all scented candles! My mama always sold “Rigaud Candles” at her shop (http://www.rigaud-paris.com). They have such a rich beautiful scent that suited her jewelry shop (shout out for her shop at www.manguette.com!) so well. I grew up with memories of her stunning home and jewelry store filled with that scent. Michelle (my mummy) also was big into “Diptyque Candles” — Figuier to be precise.

Another top billing scent I grew up around was Amber. My mom loved those candles and so in turn, I love them and all the happy memories they make me think of. I live a 12-hour flight away from my family so I do get those moments sometimes….
After months of testing different waxes, holders and scents, I have come up with my own line of soy scented candles! Yep, you read right. I have gone into the candle making business! It started as me wanting a new hobby and thinking I could make my own scented candles, so I’m no longer having to shell out all this dough to Diptyque.
My candles smell so incredible that I get compliments left, right and center from guests who come to my place. So I started making them as gifts to say thank you or as birthday presents, and after many friends told me I should start to market and sell them…here I am with my first line of Lightning Rose Candles!
My signature scent is Lavender. I also have perfected Amber, Jasmine, Vanilla, Brown Sugar and Banana bread. And as if that wasn’t cool enough, I have also found that mixing these scents creates a scent-tastic melange! So far Vanilla & Brown Sugar, Vanilla & Amber and Lavender & Jasmine seem to be on my friends favorites list.
