Do you find yourself intuitively drawn to pieces of jewelry? Ornaments that you can’t live without? Well, I do. I recently fell in lust with a dangerous ring while on vacation in Aruba. Ultimately though, it was just a brief flirtation and I didn’t take it home.
However, the item of jewelry I am having the most faithful relationship with is my Daisy Chakra bracelet! In fact I haven’t taken mine off since Mr H. very kindly gifted me the red Muladhara.
Kanye West was spotted wearing the same 24k gloss one in London recently.
These darling little bracelets come in seven pop colours that each represent one of the seven chakras. Designed by James Boyd for Daisy Brand, he started the company with his father in 2009. Boyd says, “People seem totally enchanted and enamoured by the bracelets and that makes me extremely happy and proud.”
You don’t need to know anything about energy fields or spirituality to be attracted to one of these beautiful bracelets. Daisy explains that chakras “are the manifestation of spiritual energies on the physical level and are arranged along the spine from the coccyx to the crown of the head.”
Sienna Miller is also a fan of the brand, here she is at LAX airport with the purple one!
The bracelets are bright, playful and thoughtfully designed. Each flower motif comes with its own affirmation. Sienna’s chakra comes with the phrase ‘I see all things in clarity’. Mine and Kanye’s red base chakra is for stability, prosperity and grounding, which came with the words: ‘It is safe for me to be here’.
Available in a choice of sterling silver or 24k vermeil glossy and matte, these positive trinkets are currently adorning the wrists of several A-listers. Anahata, the green one, is related to heart, love, compassion and altruism. This lovely bracelet was chosen by Blake Lively and Cheryl Cole.
Rosie Huntington-Whiteley has the blue throat one and Olivia Palermo has the lilac crown. Katy Perry is thought to have chosen the orange sacral chakra pattern which is linked to sexuality, physical grace and pleasure.
However, I’m still waiting to spot a celebrity wearing the yellow one. Manipura, the solar plexus chakra governs vitality, direction and self-esteem. I’ve got my eye on the black and gold one below that I’ve just spied on the Daisy website!
