Cameron Diaz is back in a big way!  She shined as the bad apple in “Bad Teacher,” alongside ex-boyfriend Justin Timberlake and funny man Jason Segel.  Go see “Bad Teacher” this weekend; read on for why!

Cameron Diaz stars as Elizabeth Halsey, a middle school teacher who got into teaching for all the wrong reasons;  but in her words all the right reasons, like “shorter hours, summers off, no accountability…”  Elizabeth is about to marry the sugar daddy of her dreams until his mother uncovers her gold-digging ways, and the engagement is called off.  Losing everything but her fierce wardrobe, she returns to teach in the fall – with a big attitude problem!

Making matters worse is the perky and perfect teacher across the hall, Miss Amy Squirrel.  Her enthusiasm rubs Elizabeth the wrong way, and cements a grudge between the two of them.  When Justin Timberlake’s substitute teacher character Scott Delacorte enters, Elizabeth is pretty sure he has family money and puts him in her cross hairs.  The only problem?  Scott and Miss Squirrel like each other.  Elizabeth is desperate to get large implants knowing that Scott’s ex-girlfriend was well-endowed, which sets off a string of stunts Elizabeth pulls to earn the large sum needed.  All the while she’s rejecting advances from the gym teacher, played by Jason Segel.

Seriously?  This movie is really really funny.  You’ve got the usually sunny Cameron as a bad ass, smoking pot and with a cigarette hanging out of her mouth.  Then you’ve got the usually suave Justin Timberlake as a dorky prude, Jason Segel as a pot-smoking gym teacher, and the lesser-known Lucy Punch as Amy Squirrel who steals a lot of scenes with her neurotic character.  Add in a dash of Lynn Davies (Phyllis from “The Office”) and John Michael Higgins as the dolphin-loving principal, and it’s a whole lotta laughs.  Plus, you’re not going to get bored.  The movie keeps moving, and it’s not too long!

I really enjoyed this movie!  If you need some laughs, or if you’ve really missed Cameron Diaz in the past few years as I have, go see “Bad Teacher”! If you happen to catch it this weekend, let us know how you liked it by commenting below.
